It all began with coffee – or rather, with the disappointing reality that so much coffee just didn’t hit the mark.

Every morning, we (Edith and Matt) start the day with our morning brew. Sure, the coffee we drank was decent, but it lacked that spark, that connection, that something extra. We wanted more from this small ritual, that brief window of quiet before the day got chaotic. So, we asked ourselves: how can we transform a caffeine habit into a meaningful, delicious experience worth savoring and sharing?

And that’s how Brightside Coffee was born.

We set out to create a coffee experience that’s fresher, brighter, more ethical, and more sustainable. Because here’s the truth: better coffee makes better mornings, and when your day starts right, everything else follows suit. So, we did the only logical thing: we started our own coffee company, dedicated to delivering amazing coffee to home baristas and roasters across Australia. Basically, we created a business that justifies our love for tracking down and sharing incredible coffees.
